From Monday 1st September 2025 Jersey Crematorium funeral services will temporarily relocate to the Members’ room at the RJA&HS building in Trinity.
This move to switch services to Trinity has been brought about to ensure a more peaceful atmosphere for mourners as construction is due to start on the new hospital at Westmount.
Committals for small family groups following church funeral services and cremations will continue to take place at the Westmount site, and the Garden of Remembrance will remain open.
The temporary facility will provide the same amenities for funeral services with seating for around 100 mourners plus additional standing.
Onsite parking at the RJA&HS is plentiful and free.
A blessing of the new facility took place at the end of August 2025 involving faith leaders from multiple denominations and before services were scheduled to start.
