Bill Vivian

Grace and family thank all those who all who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement at the passing of Bill, those who sent cards and flowers and donations to Age Concern.

Many thanks to Phil Warren for conducting the beautiful service, and Simon from Maillard’s for all his professional help.


STEAR,  Babette Ilse Käthe

John and the family would like to thank all family and friends who attended the funeral service and sent cards and messages of support.

We would also like to thank Cate and Katie from the Stoma Care Team and the doctors, nurses and paramedics at Jersey Hospital for the care Babette received over the past few years.

Our grateful thanks go to the staff at L’Hermitage Care Home for their support and care of Babette over the past 3 months and finally a thank you to Joy, Alicia, the staff at Maillards Funeral

Directors for their help and support in arranging the service.


NOEL, Michael John

Daff and Darren would like to thank all the dear family and friends who sent cards, letters and flowers on the passing of Mike.

Many thanks to all who attended the Thanksgiving Service for his life, to Helen Higginson for conducting the service as he planned, to Paul Morgan for reading Mike’s personal story, to  Audrey Tupper the organist and the lovely ladies of the church who provided refreshments.

Our thanks would not be complete without a special word of appreciation for Julian De La Cour at Maillards who looked after us so well.

DOREY, KENNETH 

Aged 69 years.

Kenneth passed away peacefully on Sunday 23rd June 2024, at the Jersey General Hospital.

A much-loved father to Sean, Serena and Liberty, Kenneth will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

Dorothy Powell 

Passed away on 4th July 2024, aged 87.

Beloved wife of the late Den, a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Smith Barry (Bas) Ex Fire Chief Officer, Jersey Airport

Jean and Val would like to express their thanks, for all the kind messages, cards, flowers and phone calls on the passing of Bas.

Royston Alan Pinel  (Roy)

Died peacefully on Wednesday 10th July 2024 in his 84th year at Les Charrieres Care Home, with his family at his side after bearing bravely a long illness in the last few years.

Much loved husband of 63 years of Pamela, née Falle.

Loving father of Trevor, Nigel, Sharon, Sandy (Jed) and Amanda.

Father in law of Marie, Monika, Franco and John.

Beloved grandfather of Connor, Alicia, Nathan, Lauryn, Francis, Philip, Emily, Charlotte and Eleanor, great grandfather of Tobi.

May he rest in peace with his baby son Gary.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Roy are invited to meet at St John’s Church at 1130am on Thursday 1st August 2024.

As per Roy’s wishes, no mourning dress and family flowers only please.

Barbara Cabot

Aged 83 years

Barbara passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 13th July after a long illness.

Much loved wife of the late John, mother to Ian and Robert and mother in law to Karen.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her granddaughters, great grandson, family and many friends.

Joanne Fauvel  (neé Tomkinson)

Sadly passed away at home in the loving care of her family on 11th July, aged 53.

Beloved wife of Paul, loving mother of Thomas and Michael, much loved by family and friends, she will be greatly missed.

At Jo’s request, a private family service will be held.  Donations in Jo’s memory in lieu of flowers, if desired, can be sent to your favourite charity of choice.


Brian Pinel Hibbs

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 13th July 2024, aged 76 years, surrounded by his family.

Loving husband of Margaret, beloved Dad of Paul, Mark, James and Matthew, cherished father-in-law of Emma, Karina and Nancy, and adored Grandad of Lily, Harry, Charlie, Hazel, Billy and Oliver.

A wonderful man, who touched so many lives, Brian will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Thomas’ Church at 11.30am on Tuesday 30th July. Followed by a private cremation.
