We are deeply saddened to share the news of the sudden and unexpected death of Barrie, aged 80, on Sunday 26th April 2026.
Beloved husband of Eleanor and father to Chloe.
Cherished brother of Brian, late John, Anne and Maggie.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

RIVE, ALFRED ALAN aged 89 years
ALFRED passed away peacefully on Saturday 2nd May 2026 at Silver Springs Care Home.
Much loved father, grandfather and great grandfather, Alfred will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Passed away peacefully on April 17th, 2026. Devoted wife to Jose Faria, mother of Nuno and Antonio.
Maria will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in Madeira and Jersey.
Funeral Service:
Maria’s funeral service will be held at the Catholic Church of St Thomas on Friday June 5th at 10am.
Burial will take place immediately thereafter at Surville Cemetery and all are welcome to attend.
Please family flowers only, but in Maria’s memory, donations can be made to either a Dementia charity or an Autism charity in honour of her husband and son.
