ROSSI, Valentino (Tino)

Sadly passed away on 29th May 2026 aged 91.

Born in Italy, he worked for over 60 years in the catering business in Jersey, garnering much acclaim as a restaurateur.

Caring father of Alan and Vicky, and loving grandfather to Luna, he will be deeply missed and very fondly remembered by all, including his many friends, customers and the staff at La Capannina restaurant.

FORD Barrie John

Passed away peacefully on 28th May 2026, aged 75yrs.

After a brave fight with cancer.

He will be greatly missed by all his Church family at St Helier Methodist Centre.

Funeral Service:

Relatives and friends wishing to attend Barrie’s funeral service are invited to St Helier Methodist Centre on Thursday 18th June 2026 at 10am.

RAINBOW, Mary Elizabeth (Lillian)

Passed away peacefully at Maison La Corderie Care Home, on Thursday 28 May 2026 aged 88 years, dearly loved wife of the late Dennis, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Lillian will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

In our hearts you hold a place no-one else will ever fill.

ROBINSON Geoffrey ( Geoff )

Beloved husband of Fay, father of Sue and Nigel, father-in-law, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away in the care of the General Hospital on 3rd June 2026.

The family thank Andy and his team at Lakeside Care Home for their kindness and compassion throughout Geoff’s time in their care.

Funeral Service:

A celebration of Geoff’s life will be held at the RJAHS on Tuesday 23rd June 2026 at 1.00pm.

Please no flowers, however donations in Geoff’s memory could be made to Dementia Jersey or towards the repairs of the Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre, to which Geoff dedicated so much of his time in the early days-jerseygiving.je/donate/jersey-table-tennis-association or by contacting the team at jttafundraising@gmail.com


FARRELL Martin John

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father on Saturday 30th May.

He was a much-loved father to Kirsty, Jess and Jade and grandfather to Mia, Kian & Aria.

His kindness, humour, and presence touched the lives of many.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service:

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in celebrating his life at the Jersey Royal Showground on Thursday 18th June at 14:30pm.

As Dad was a man of tradition, we respectfully ask that guests wear traditional funeral attire.

The family are very grateful to the Medical Day Unit (MDU) and Corbiere Ward for amazing care and kindness they showed our dad during his time of illness.

CORNAGLIA, VITTORINO (VICTOR) Aged 97 years

Victor passed away peacefully on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 at the Jersey General Hospital.

A much-loved husband and friend, Victor will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

Sunrose 8th July 1940, Sunset 15 June 2026.

Beloved husband and best friend to Jane.

Adored father of Matthew and daughter-in-law Karen and cherished Pops to Callum and Rory.
