ETIENNE, Mike Anthony (Michael)

The family are sad to advise of the death of Mike on December 4th 2025.

Funeral Service:

Family and friends wishing to attend a Celebration of Mike’s Life are invited to Holme Grown, Fauvic, on Friday December 19th at 9.30am.

Please wear Bright Colours and no black mourning clothes.

STRANDBERG, KIRK

Kirk passed away peacefully on Tuesday 9th December 2025 at Jersey Hospice Care.

A much-loved husband to Susan, Kirk will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends.

Funeral service:

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Kirk are invited to meet at Jersey Crematorium – Royal Jersey Showground on Monday 19th January 2026 at 11:30 am.

Please wear something bright.

GEORGE, AMY WINIFRED (née CUSTIS) Aged 98 years

Amy passed away peacefully on Wednesday 10th December 2025 at St Joseph’s Residential and Nursing Home.

Finally reunited with her beloved husband Andrew George – DFC, Amy was a much-loved mother to Colin, Lesley and Yvonne. A Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Amy will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

Daphne May Deahl (née Grant)

Died on 11th December at Jersey General Hospital.

Formerly of Havant.

Widow of Peter.

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.

Funeral Service:

Margaret (Margo) Grace WRIGHT (née Behoe)

Passed away peacefully in her 100th year on Thursday, 11th December 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Ted, much-loved mother of Susan and Stephen, mother-in-law of Peter and Naomi, Granny of Jane (and husband David) and Sarah, Great-Granny of Marianne and Jonathan.

Known for her rôle as pianist at the Jersey Academy of Dancing and the Carousel School of Dance – “Thank you, Mrs Wright!”

Funeral service:

The funeral will be at St Helier Methodist Centre on Monday, 22nd December at 2 p.m., followed later by a private burial.

Family flowers only.

The family hope you will join them for light refreshments in the Church’s café immediately after the service.


STEVEN JOHN STEGENWALNER (‘Steg’)

Passed away on Sunday 7 December 2025, aged 55 years.

Beloved husband of Siobhan and father of Amy and Ella.

Much loved son, brother, uncle, cousin and godfather, and a dear friend to many.

Also remembered and missed by family, friends and colleagues in Austria, Guernsey, the UK (in particular, Liverpool), France, the Cayman Islands, the USA, Canada and Australia.

A celebration of life:

A celebration of Steg’s life will be held at the Grand Hotel from 1:45pm until 4pm on 31 December 2025.

To help with planning the event, the family kindly asks that you notify them if you plan to attend (email: thestegs71@gmail.com).

A private cremation is taking place.

If desired, a donation may be made in lieu of flowers (marked in memory of Steven Stegenwalner) to Cancer Research UK, Jersey Hospice or Jersey Marine Conservation.

The family wish to reassure friends unable to attend on 31 December that a memorial gathering will be arranged in the New Year.


MOON Patricia Anne (née Bowker) “Pat”

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice Care on Saturday 13th December 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Cherished Wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother

Pat will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Our beautiful Mum passed away on Wednesday 17th December 2025 aged 86 years.
